Sochi Ice Worker Hit By Stray Bobsled

NESN- Sochi

A Russian ice worker is in stable condition after being hit by a stray bobsled at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. The man, who Sochi Olympics officials declined to identify, broke both of his legs when he was struck by a bobsled Thursday. The bobsled was sent down the track empty to make sure conditions were OK for competition to start. Two other workers fled the ice safely. It’s unclear why they were still on the track or why the injured man could not get out of the way.

HAHA. So they test track conditions in Sochi by throwing an empty 384 pound bobsled down the track without telling the ice scoopers at the bottom?

The best part of this story is that two other guys fled the scene without helping the third dude at all. Probably threw him in front of it to slow it down. So Putin it hurts. Also, how do you survive getting hit by a bobsled going like 80 miles an hour slamming straight into your kneecaps? If that's not the most painful thing ever then what is?

Update:

Man is alive but this picture below looks like they stuffed him in a body bag and just called it quits.
