Inspiration of the Day: Derrick Coleman Duracell Commercial

Derrick Coleman is a backup running back for the Seattle Seahawks, and is the first legally deaf offensive football player in the NFL. According to the best source on the internet (Wikipedia), he became deaf at the age of 3 and still managed to play college football at UCLA. He went undrafted but eventually was signed on by the Seahawks after 4 preseason games. Despite his setbacks and challenges, he scored his first NFL touchdown on MNF this season on December 2nd, 2013.

This is one of the rare occasions where a commercial actually sends a positive message while capturing consumer attention. Bravo Derrick Coleman and bravo Duracell.
