Update to B's Blog: Tim Thomas Bobblehead Night was Last Night Even Though He Is In Dallas

CBS - From the department of poorly timed promotions, the Florida Panthers gave away Tim Thomas bobbleheads to the first 7,500 fans on Sunday. This is a problem of course because Tim Thomas is no longer with the Panthers, traded on Wednesday to Dallas.

The organization already had the bobbleheads made, though, so they went through with the promotion even with Roberto Luongo starting against Boston.

To try and make up for it in a small way, the Panthers also gave out Roberto Luongo posters to fans with a shot from his first stint with the organization. It's as close as we ever got to seeing that Dream Team in the Panthers' crease.

Forgot to mention this in the Bruins blog this morning, but its absolutely worth a mention. How about the morons in Florida giving this out on the same night they give out their new goalie's poster? Can't believe Florida has enough fans for this franchise to stay alive and make money.
